SOL FOUNDERS
SEMITONIS ONLINE LIMITED (SOL) was established in January 2015 by its founders; Mario, Natalie and Inge Carolus to fill the need for a music company and conservatory model based on our motto EXCELLENCE THROUGH PERFORMANCE (Excellentia Per Effectum). Since its inception, SOL has expanded across New Zealand and recently parts of Australia. The pillars of SOL are Music Education (Music Performance, Composition, Teaching and Research), Music Production (via our sister company ZulRac Productions), Podcast (The Dr Mario Show) and Music Publishing (music and artist promotion) and SOLJOY Ltd (Instruments and accessories shop). None of our products and services are possible without the support of our local and international business partners and collaborators developed over time.

THE SOL BRAND
The infinite nature of music transcending geographical, cultural and subject boundaries is captured by the integral sign (used in calculus maths and physics) and is our brand symbol for Semitonis Online Limited. The elongated 'S' symbol is used in architecture where ever you have curves to find volume and areas. This is also the same shape as the soundhole on a violin. For us, the integral represents our flexibility, creative and holistic approach (mandala) resonating in our teaching and learning and which transcends geographical, cultural and subject boundaries. As a student joining the Semitonis movement, you become an integral or very important part of 'making up a whole'.
Our brand colours (green, gold and blue) compliment our motto: Excellentia Per Effectum. Gold represents knowledge, wisdom and faith, Green represents security, refreshment and peace, while Blue represents freedom, intuition, imagination and sensitivity.
Students at SOL are familiar with the importance of colour codes used in our MPD structured lesson system.
