Webcam teaching is an online support service offered to individual students taking Piano, Theory or other exam bodies such as NCEA/CIEMusic, etc classes. Video conference teaching sessions could also be arranged for groups and on request. Webcam lessons are also offered as 'catch-up' lessons for students who were unable to attend scheduled lessons due to illness or other approved commitments. Please consult your teacher to schedule Video lessons on the Semitonis Online calendar.
Piano and theory lessons are offered to beginner, intermediate and advanced students and of all ages. Depending on availability, students have the option to either attend Semitonis Studio, have their weekly lessons at their own homes or through Webcam teaching. A travel fee may be charged for students staying outside a 10km radius and who opt for In-house piano lessons. Students must have access to a piano or digital piano at home, fast broadband internet and a computer/IPad with a camera for streaming concerts/recitals. All students are required to manage their own electronic MPD system (music performance diary) and share it with the teacher before the next lesson. Please read 'Studio Policy' on the website by clicking on the 'Registration' icon. Students are encouraged to participate in concerts, recitals, PA competitions or Chamber Music opportunities.
