GUITAR PERFORMANCE LESSONS

Guitar lessons (acoustic/electric) are offered to students of all ages and abilities in the home studio (face-to-face) or remotely. Students must have or purchase their instruments through SOLJOY, our associate musical instrument shop. Students have the option to enter our approved internationally acclaimed exams (ABRSM, TRINITY or equivalent).

FEES
Guitar lessons start at $60/hour (excl GST) and do not include music books, workbooks or exam fees. Please read our Studio Policy.

CONCERTS
Students are encouraged to participate in recitals and concerts as scheduled. A nominal fee is charged per concert or recital and audience attendance is strictly RSVP (free) or through ticket sales.

FEES
All Semitonis lessons will be organized in units of 10 lessons each and will roughly correspond with the normal school calendar and Terms. The fees scheduled for piano lessons are:

Classes start (NZ): 22 January 2024, 4 pm - 8 pm (Monday to Friday) and 8 am - 8 pm (Saturday). close on Sunday.
Classes end: (NZ): 18 December 2024

Student and Parent(s) responsibilities
To get the most benefit from tuition classes:

Please be on time for each tuition session
Ensure all homework and tasks from a previous session have been completed on time.
Please phone or email me early if you have any questions or difficulties related to the tasks set, so that I can have enough time to prepare for these before your next tuition session.
Tuition sessions can only be cancelled with two days (48 hours) notice.
No refund of fees will be considered.
Before the commencement of any tuition, the tutor, student and parent must sign a learning and teaching contract.
Fees are paid in advance and exclude examination fees.
Electronic MPD (Performance), diary MUST be kept up to date weekly and before the next lesson.
