My teaching experience spans 25 years acquired both overseas and in New Zealand and includes Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Community institutions. I have published numerous papers on Secondary Music Education and delivered papers at various national and international conferences. My most recent secondary school music textbook; Music for New Zealand Years 9 and 10, was commissioned and published by Cambridge University Press, Port Melbourne in 2013 and is a student textbook. In New Zealand, I was employed as HOD Music for 9 years after which I became an author for Cambridge University Press, Port Melbourne. From 2013 onward, I served as Music Consultant and Piano Tutor for Performance Music students preparing for ABRSM, TRINITY, Dip ABRSM and LTCL examinations, while at the same time tutoring NCEA, VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) and IB students. I have maintained a consistent 100% pass rate and attendance rate is consistently at 100%. My recent ABRSM piano results for this year are at a high Distinction, VCE, Year 12 result for 2015 at A+ average and NCEA at Excellence levels. I have also developed my own online lesson and resource programme, Semitonis Online for students. I enjoy creating music-making and completed a musical called 'Pepe' whilst working on other substantial instrumental compositions.
